For a long time, I stepped away from art. What started as a creative block turned into years of silence. But during that time, something unexpected happened—I discovered music production.
Working with synthesizers and audio software, I began to see the sounds I was creating. Every frequency had a color. Every rhythm had a shape. And when I finally picked up a brush again, I realized the opposite was also true—every stroke I made, I could hear.
This is Synesthetic Composition—my term for the creative process where music and visual art are created simultaneously, each informing the other. When I paint, I compose. When I produce a track, I sketch what I hear.
The tools have changed too. I now work with digital audio workstations and VST plugins alongside traditional media. The same software that shapes my sounds helps me understand the waveforms I translate onto canvas.
